Laura received her B.A. in Communication, magna cum laude, in 2005 from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. During college, she interned with the White House and the United States Senate.
Laura earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2008 from Seattle University School of Law. During law school, she served as Notes & Comments Editor for the Seattle University Law Review, participated in Administrative Law Moot Court, and earned awards for excellence in legal writing. In 2008, she served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Robert J. Bryan of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Prior to joining SEBRIS BUSTO JAMES, Laura was an associate with Cozen O'Connor in Seattle, where she gained experience in employment and insurance litigation in federal and state courts across the United States.
